If you use HelloFax and Dropbox, it can be a major hassle to manage your documents. We learned that people were signing a document in HelloFax, downloading it, and then uploading it to Dropbox. So, we made that problem go away.
How does the integration work?
- We create a HelloFax folder in your dropbox account.
- Anytime you send a fax, receive a fax, or sign and send an email – we’ll automatically forward it to your dropbox account. People can fax directly into your dropbox account.
Integrate with Dropbox now in 10 seconds:
1. Go to your “My Account” Page. Don’t have an account? Sign up now >
2. Click on the Dropbox check mark and click save.
3. Follow the steps on Dropbox
And you’re done! Email us at support [at] hellofax.com if you want us to do any other integrations!

On the Dropbox authorization page, it says it needs full access to the Dropbox folder? Is there anyway around that?
Hey Matt,
The reason we ask is because we actually create a dropbox folder called “HelloFax” within your dropbox account. That’s where we store the documents. Otherwise, we don’t have the permissions to do it. I don’t think dropbox lets us do it in another way. Make sense?
Cheers,
Jsoeph
Yeah makes sense. Thanks for the response. I just didn’t know if it was possible to already create a folder on our end in Dropbox and only give up access to that specific folder. Awesome product by the way!
Awesome. Either way, thanks for scoping it out! It’s my favorite feature
Looks like the new Dropbox api has a new “App folders” feature, where you can request a single folder to write to:
